This policy describes how Air Intel, operated by Gabriel Steiner, handles information for its receiver-monitoring application and notifications.

Information we handle

We handle account information such as your email address and sign-in identity; receiver identifiers, monitored locations, configuration and health information; aircraft detections and alert history; and support correspondence. If you choose SMS, we also handle your phone number, verification information, consent records, notification preferences, opt-out records, and message delivery information. Our hosting and communication providers may process technical logs, including IP addresses and request information.

How we use information

We use this information to provide account access, link and operate receivers, display traffic and history, deliver requested notifications, honor preferences and opt-outs, troubleshoot problems, and protect the service from abuse. Browser storage supports sign-in and preferences such as the display theme.

Service providers and sharing

We use service providers for hosting, account authentication, storage, email, and SMS delivery. These include Vercel, Supabase, Fly.io, Postmark, and Twilio; Google may process information when you choose Google sign-in or contact us. We disclose information to these providers as needed to operate the service. We may also disclose information when required by law or necessary to protect the service and its users.

We do not sell or share mobile numbers or SMS opt-in information with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. SMS consent and opt-in records are not shared for those purposes. Providers that help deliver and operate the SMS service may process this information for that service.

SMS choices

SMS is optional and requires separate consent. Message frequency varies with aircraft activity and your settings. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to unsubscribe or HELP for assistance. Creating an account or enabling email alerts does not enroll you in SMS. See our SMS Terms.

Retention and your requests

We retain information as needed to operate the service, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, and prevent abuse. Limited consent and opt-out records may be retained to document permission and honor your choices. To request access, correction, or deletion of your information, email support@airspace-intel.com. We may need to verify your identity before acting. Deletion from backups may take additional time.

Security and updates

We use access controls and other safeguards, but no service can guarantee absolute security. We may update this policy as the service changes; the date above identifies the latest revision. Contact support with privacy questions.
